Funeral services for Sonnie Lee Whitehead, age 80, who died on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 3:00p.m. from the Union Hill Baptist Church, Nashville, NC.
Chapel viewing will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:00pm.
Church viewing will be held at the Union Hill Baptist Church in Nashville, NC on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 6:00 – 7:30pm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ella Jane Whitehead of the home, one daughter, Sonja “Suzette” Dixon (Chris) of Durham, NC, one son, Shawn Lee Whitehead (Lisa) of Nashville, NC, two sisters, Linda Moore (Arvelle) and Lillie Mae Arrington (Ronnie) both of Rocky Mt., NC, three brothers, Dan Allen Whitehead, Bruce Neal Whitehead and Alvin Rosevelt Whitehead (Josephine) all of Nashville, NC, five grandchildren, Aaron, Kiarra, Taelor, Tiler and Isaiah, and two great grandchildren, Lillian and Le’Daya.
