Funeral services for Bennett Hicks, age 53, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pope’s Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, NC. Burial will follow in the Pope’s Chapel Church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Young of Charlotte, NC, Alexis Hicks of Sanford, NC, Ariel Hicks of Florida, Sierra Hicks and Kalisa Hicks both of Zebulon, NC, mother, Alma Person (Mark) of Louisburg, NC, sisters, Lisa Hicks-Jones (Doriena) of Franklinton, NC and Altrobise Hicks of Henderson, NC, brother, Vernon C. Hicks (Shelandria) of Ruskin, Fl, and three grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Pope’s Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, NC.
