Funeral services for Curtis Richardson, age 85, who died on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery.

Cutis is survived by his daughter, Joy Pickett (Corey) of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Clint Richardson (Shelby) of Raleigh, NC, Alvin Richardson (Lisa) of Warrenton, NC; six sisters, Lucille Richardson Hedgepeth, Venella Richardson, and Etherlean Rudd, all of Hollister, NC, Ermajean Harrison (George) of Warrenton, NC, Maxine Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount, NC, Bernice Fraizer of Manhattan, NY; four brothers, Elliott Richardson (Paulette) and Leonard Richardson (Cecelie), both of Littleton, NC, Henry Richardson of Hollister, NC, Milton Richardson (Arlean) of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening (Feb. 23) from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Having known Curt and his family for many years my heart is broken Curt was soft spoken and non-judgmental. He loved āBertaā his wife of 60+ yrs with all his heart now they are reunited. Curt thought the sun rose and set in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a great husband, father and grandfather and later on a great grandfather. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. RIP Curt and weāll see you again by and by!
