Funeral services for Florine “Red” Boone Silver, age 82, who died on Sunday, October 25, 2026, will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Silver Hill Family Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Loretta Richardson (Darrell) and Kimberly Boose (Chauncey), both of Rocky Mount, NC, Yolanda Silver of Enfield, NC; six sisters, Edith Norwood and Lou Richardson, both of Nashville, NC, Ruby Winstead (Horace) of Rocky Mount, NC, Virginia Adams of Union, NJ, Katie Palmer of Newport News, VA, Fannie Tucker (Jerry) of Nashville, NC; one brother, William Boone (Lorina) of Aventon, NC; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister.
