Funeral services for Glynis R. Edmonds, age 61, who died on Thursday, August 14, m2025, will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 12:00noon from the Social Union Baptist Church in Nashville, NC. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Haywood Edmonds of the home, one daughter, Brittni Edmonds of Rocky Mount, NC, one son, Brandon Edmonds (Sophia) of Rocky Mount, NC, two sisters, Tami Harrison (Wesley) of Nashville, NC and Tonja Whitaker (Shawn) of Whitakers, NC and two grandchildren.
Wake services will be held at the Social Union Baptist Church in Nashville, NC on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00pm.

It seems like just yesterday that we left our Aunt Mary Alice’s funeral and had dinner together at the famous “Western Sizzler”. Glynis joined Tami, Tonya and our Aunts, Peggy and Eloise. Even though she needed to be at the softball game with her family. We had the most wonderful time catching up, a time that I do not remember us ever having before. We did not get the chance to make that meeting happen again but now the rest of us have even more reason to catch up again soon.
