Funeral services for Gregory L. Baskett, age 54, who died on Saturday, September 20, 2025 will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC with Minister Bobby Perry officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angelina Baskett of the home; four daughters, Shaniqua C. Baskett of Louisburg, NC, Asia Alexander of Houston, TX, Cykneice Baskett of Tampa, FL, and Oceana Baskett of Franklinton, NC; two sons, Gregory L. Baskett, Jr. of Louisburg, NC, and Vincent A. Baskett of Las Vegas, NV; his mother, Ellen Baskett Jones (Howard) of Louisburg, NC, and Stepfather, Benton Hedgepeth of Bunn, NC; three sisters, Vivian Hedgepeth and Olivia Hedgepeth both of Louisburg, NC, and Belinda Hedgepeth Chrisp (Akela) of Zebulon, NC, and a host of other relatives and friends
There will be a viewing Thursday afternoon from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home chapel.

Greg was “That Character” when we were in Elementary, Middle, and High. He always had something smart to say. Greg will be truly missed. My condolences and prayers to the family ❣️❣️🙏🏾🙏🏾
