Funeral services for Henry Wadsworth Battle, Jr., age 84, who died on Saturday, February 7, 2026, will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 12:00noon from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
Survivors include his common law wife, Sarah Gary of Philadelphia, PA, two daughters, Shirley Gary and Karen Battle-Paul both of Philadelphia, PA, his sister, Maxine Thornton of Canton, GA, four brothers, Harold Battle of Rocky Mt., NC, Oscar Battle of Durham, NC, Michael Battle of Nashville, NC and Mitchell Battle of Johnson City, TN, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 11:00 – 12:00pm at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, NC.
