Funeral services for Howard Jones, Jr., age 74, who died on Monday, September 14, 2026, will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Kinches Chapel Christian Church in Franklinton, NC. 

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Jones of the home, two daughters, Stephanie Jones and Letitia Jones both of Franklinton, NC, brothers, Charles Jones of Bunn, NC, Joe Jones, David Jones, Oscar Jones and Chris Jones all of Henderson, NC, sisters, Brenda Perry (Micheal), Janice Jones,  and Annie “Neicy” Jones all of Henderson, NC, nine grandchildren, Khadijah, Andrea, Makiyah, Lyanla, D’Andre, D’vontae, Amari, Joshua and Dasmon, and thirteen great grandchildren. 

There will be a viewing Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00p.m. at Kinches Chapel Christian Church.

      A quiet and kind man has gained his 🪽 🪽. Mr. Jonrs was a faithful employee to the Franklin County School System, and a good “quite” friend to those who knew him! He spoke and went on about his way. Rest in Paradise Mr. Jones. Sincere condolences with prayers of comfort to the Jones family. 🕊
