Hollister, NC
Funeral services for Jacob “Jake” Lynch, age 87, who died on Monday, August 18, 2025, will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. from the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Warrenton with Rev. Linwood Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynch Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Delois Evans Lynch of the home; two daughters, Sandy Teresa Bigley of Manassas, VA, Penny Tiomy Lynch (Chris) of Catonsville, MD; three sons, Timothy Lynch (Donna) of Hagerstown, MD, Wayne Lynch (Mesheila) and Jay Lynch, both of Hollister, NC; two sisters, Irene Wright of Flint, MI, May Lynch of Hollister, NC; three brothers, his twin brother, Esau Lynch (Patsy) of Hollister, NC, James Lynch of Baltimore, MD, Robert Lynch (Judy) of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Sunday from 1:30 until 2:30 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.
