Funeral services for Janie E. Sherill, age 73, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg, NC. Burial will follow in the Oakwood cemetery.
She is survived by her sister, Ellen Ruffin of Louisburg, NC, and brothers, Robert Ruffin (Nancy) of Youngsville, NC, and James Smith (Jean) of Bunn, NC, and a host of family members and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
