Funeral services for Kensie Silver, age 91, who died on Monday, August 25, 2025, will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 12:00 noon, from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, NC with Pastor Robert Hedgepeth, officiating. Burial will follow in the Walter’s Chapel Church Cemetery, Hollister, NC.
He is survived by his with wife, Barbara Silver of the home; two daughters, Verna Summerville of Jacksonville, FL, and Judith Jones (Raymond) of Hollister, NC; one son, Kenneth Silver (Mary) of Portsmouth, VA; one sister, Sadie Pace of Chesapeake, VA; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Pine Chapel Baptist Church.
