Good afternoon, To Jackie, Michelle, Terri, and Lionel. Ya’ll did a wonderful job taking care of your mom. We were raised to take care of family. You all gave mom her Birthday during a pandemic was awesome. But she hung around for several more years. Because of love and laughter. Do not feel sad she is home with the love her life ya’ll daddy Mr. Haywood. We all in the club know off of Grace Street. We all was bless to have parents who was present in our lives. Played games with us and everyone could discipline us. So I pray each of you find joy, peace, love from extended family. From the Grace Street Families.

My heart was saddened to hear of Mother Rachel’s passing, but I rejoice knowing she lived her life knowing where her help comes from…it cometh from The Lord. She lived her life loving her family, loving God and her community. Since the humble beginnings of Churchill to Echo Avenue, she has always taken my Sister, Pam and I in as her very own children. If they went to the laundry mat, we were in the truck too (ALL DAY SATURDAY). If she was cooking, we had a plate too (except we didn’t eat the Brussels sprouts). If there was a sleep over, which was often (either their house or ours), breakfast was being served AFTER ALL CHORES WERE DONE! Yes we helped clean up behind ourselves too. The joys of framily (friend made family). Jackie, Michelle, Lionel and Teri, when your heart hurts, so did ours. We just believe her heart is happier because she longed to be with Daddy Haywood. We rejoice because we can hear our Heavenly Father saying ‘well done thy good and faithful servant’…take your rest. The Angels are rejoicing. Mother Rachel•Gone But Never Forgotten🕊️ With Love, Pam & Tay

Sending my most sincere condolences to the Robinson and Richardson families during and after this trying time. I knew Ms. Rachel by way of my classmate, Penny. May she now rest from her labor. I am sure she has lived a blessed life and gained her reward. May her legacy forever be honored. The Eastman High School Class of 1979 are sending prayers and lots of love to the entire family of Sis. Richardson. May God’s grace be with each of you.
