To Mrs. Bunn, and the entire Bunn and other connectional families, I send my most sincere condolences to each of you. To know Rev. Bunn was to love him. He has left many heart prints in Halifax County Schools, his Church and throughout his community. I was honored to have worked with him in HCS and to encounter that smile each and every time I was in his presence. He has fought a good fight, he indeed kept the faith. May he now rest from his labor. Praying your strength and peace during and after this trying time.

Honoring the life and legacy of Reverend Nathaniel Bunn—a faithful servant, devoted leader, and man whose life reflected unwavering commitment to God and to others. His words, actions, and example left a lasting impact on all who were blessed to know him, and his ministry and faith will continue to speak long after his passing.

“The time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
    — 2 Timothy 4:6–7

May his family find comfort in knowing his work here is complete and his legacy lives on. I send my deepest condolences, love, and prayers—especially to my daughter, Loyalty, who will forever carry her grandfather’s faith and love with her.
