Funeral services for Shirley Diane Richardson, age 71, who died on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Devon Richardson (Megan) and Christopher Lee Richardson (Johnica) both of Louisburg, NC, one sister, Mary Lillian Silver (Robert) of Louisburg, NC, one brother, Duray Coley (Susie) of Louisburg, NC and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel.

Shirley, for 18 years you were a mother I never had, and a second mother to Aiyana. You were the most selfless person and never judged. I was able to come and talk to you no matter the situation. You loved your family like no other I’ve ever seen. You were already an angel here on earth. You will be missed so much but the memories of you will last forever. I will always love you. Aiyana has to wonderful guardian angels now! Thank you for all that you did for all of us!
