Funeral services for Stella M. Smith, age 66, who died on Thursday, April 2, 2026, will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00p.m. from the Ambassadors for Christ, Louisburg, NC. Burial will follow in the Haywood Baptist Church cemetery, Louisburg, NC.

She is survived by four children, Shelia Mitchell Alston (Joseph), Bobby Smith II, Miguel Smith and Shumeca Mitchell Watkins, five siblings, James Mitchell, Emma Mitchell, Mary Graham (George), Otis Mitchell and Gwendolyn Mitchell Dublin and nine grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
