Funeral services for Stephen J. Harper, age 36, who died on Monday, March 2, 2026 will be held privately.
He is survived by his father, Dalton Harper of Nashville, NC, his stepmother, Rosalyn Oduok of Rocky Mount, NC, three sisters, Marilyn Harper Mundle (George) of Georgia, Fernella Harper of Boston, MA and Akiva Harper of Nashville, NC, two brothers, Dalton Harper, Jr. of Maryland and Paul Harper of New York and one aunt, Meredith Harper and a host of nieces and nephews.

Today makes 10 years since I graduated with my my diploma from Kennesaw State and for some reason they have swapped and gave you my destiny. I know you told me you was going to school and I was so happy and I said if you need help with your schoolwork, I will help you you didn’t tell me what college I was going to.
You didn’t tell me anything. The word pursue means to try to obtain. You didn’t get your two year associate degree but your friend Robert is trying to kill me. I’ll leave your friends since you have died. Have showed their true coolers, their true nature they’ve taken all of your shit.
All of your stuff is somehow disappeared out the house and you know your dad does not allow me into your room or nothing. He won’t even let me into the house. It’s not my home so I don’t go over there.

You left this world before I can ask you many questions. I know I sent a lot of emails with a lot of questions because I had a lot of things that happened to me.
I got sexually assaulted family bullying, and you used to be my support system.
Somewhere alone, never mind your Freemason friend, Mr. Michael family me, and Robert did some things with that Social Security number your friends have tormenting me and torture me since you left.
The family has done so much to me since you’ve been gone, including dad with his anger, unable to deal with grief the best way he can.
If you were a believer or was a believer in heaven, I tried to tell you about certain things that you were supposed to know to protect yourself and you didn’t want to listen to me
Wherever you at and trying to kill me and I don’t know what to do I cry every day thinking about you. I know there was a misunderstanding that we had conversations about, but all I wanted was your time to sit down and talk and show you the papers so you can see what was going on. I don’t know what they did to you and I don’t know who brainwashed you, but I hope somewhere somebody here’s my prayers. You’re not God in heaven that’s only one person from the holy Bible, but there are angels in this world and there’s demons that operate to hurt people and I don’t know what side you stand on, but I know you all, including you crucified me, but at the end you asked me for a Bible and my car was broken and I should’ve done whatever I had to do. I tried to baptize you in holy water I tried I tried and I tried and I’m tired and it’s not fair.
I think about you all the time and I thought we was gonna grow all together. I thought we was gonna have little babies growing up together his cousins and go, but I’m not ready to die physically yet, but I’ve gone through so much affliction physically and spiritually admittedly so I hope you go to dad in his dreams and you tell him what’s going on or you discipline him to be nicer to me because dad’s family of demons his first wife’s clan has caused me hell and it’s causing to on my body and they’ve done so much stuff to you

Stephen John Harper was born in Bronx, New York City at Albert Einstein Hospital to Deborah J Phillips (Harper) and Dalton A. Harper Sr.
Stephen graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High school in 2008, and pursued an associate degree in Business Administration.
During his leisure time, Steph took up to be a self-taught sketch artist, self-taught tattoo artist and a self-taught mechanic.
He enjoyed cooking enjoyed playing basketball for leisure, as well as video games.
He also always enjoyed beautiful bright colors. He always wanted to be happy.
Steph was the glue that kept Dalton A. Harper Sr and Akiva Harper you together to keep the family unit alive
Upon his death, Stephen was employed with Bridgestone Firestone as a technician in their warehouse for about six years to eight years in which he really thoroughly enjoyed working there into his health succumb to the hard conditions of the workplace.
He is survived by his father, Dalton Harper of Nashville, NC, His one biological sister Akiva Harper of Nashville, NC.
two half sisters, Marilyn Mundle (Georgia), Fernella Harper of Boston, MA, one half brother Dalton H. Harper, Jr. of Maryland.
One aunt, Dionne Lee of Massachusetts.
Three cousins- Patrice Johnson of Massachusetts and Lionel P.H. Coward III of Massachusetts and Meredith Harper (London UK) and a host of nieces and nephews.
