Funeral services for Tassie Strickland, age 95, who died on Monday, February 9, 2026, will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. from the Castalia Baptist Church in Castalia, NC with Minister Phillip Williams, officiating.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy A. Crews of Louisburg, NC, Roxanne Dickens of Rocky Mount, NC, Eloise Strickland-Bey and Maggie L. Strickland both of Castalia, NC, sons, Ronnie Strickland of Spring Hope, NC, Billy Strickland (Diane) of Rocky Mount, NC, Larry Strickland and Charles Strickland both of Castalia, NC, twenty-two grandchildren, sixty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
There will be a viewing prior to the service on Saturday from 9:00am until 10:00am at Castalia Baptist Church.
